Coffee Stage’s First In-House Product — Fellow Stagg EKG Pro/Studio Multifunctional Temperature-Control Kettle and Pour-Over Coffee Storage Stand

Our first in-house product is designed and refined to improve home organisation. The entire range is made from PLA carbon-fibre material for improved structural strength and a refined finish, combining practicality and aesthetics.

Thoughtful Design, Refined Storage

We created this product to solve everyday storage challenges. At home or in the office, limited space can make it hard to find the right solution. Although many stands are available, few fit coffee equipment closely: mismatched or oversized dimensions can make the storage look out of place.

We addressed these issues through careful design and refinement:

• Purposeful Design: Useful storage beneath the pour-over kettle makes flexible use of home or office corners and maximises every inch of space.
• A Coordinated Design: Carefully selected materials and styling are designed specifically for Fellow Stagg EKG Pro to blend with the brand’s look and enhance both the experience and finish.

100% Designed and Made in Hong Kong

This is our first product to bring together design, refinement and production in Hong Kong in one process, with all production completed locally. Beyond storage, it is a functional piece that adds character to your home or office.

We comprehensively refined the existing design beyond an ordinary 3D-printed product, creating a higher-quality storage solution suited to real needs. For everyday organisation or as a decorative addition to a room, it is an ideal choice.

The range comes in two versions: Stand Basic and Stand Air.

Stand Basic includes a drawer for coffee tools or beans, making it ideal for homes, offices and cafés.

Stand Air combines practicality with value.

• Lightweight Structure: Place a Fellow Stagg EKG Pro pour-over kettle above and various compact coffee scales below.
• Excellent Value: Stand Air uses less material in some supports while maintaining Stand Basic’s strength and stability, offering a favourable balance of performance and price for homes and offices.
• Simple and Practical: A lighter design offers excellent value for everyday use.

Exterior Design

Although similar products are available, we comprehensively refined our material selection and production methods for a higher-quality experience.

Ordinary 3D-printed products often use standard PLA, which can show pronounced layer lines during FDM printing and inconsistent quality in production, such as uneven lines or chipped edges between batches. Heat deformation can also bend stands over time, particularly at weaker points, affecting stability and durability.

To address this, we chose high-rigidity PLA carbon fibre and repeatedly tested and refined print settings to meet precise quality standards, with variation within 3%. Strict production SOPs ensure each unit matches the design, removing concerns about layer lines, deformation or structural instability.

Durability and Stability

While many designs focus on cutting costs, we place greater emphasis on long-term use.

• Improved Resistance to Heat Deformation: Standard PLA can deform over time. Our PLA carbon fibre improves rigidity and durability over PLA stands, keeping the product stable in everyday use.
• Attention to Craftsmanship: We refine every detail, from materials to production methods, to combine practicality and durability.

Drawer Design

Choosing drawer slides was a major design challenge. Ordinary 3D-printed drawers can start sticking after 50-60 repeated uses and may shed wear particles, affecting the cleanliness of the home.

We therefore fitted the drawer with special metal slides for smooth opening and closing even after extended use. More stable and durable than 3D-printed material, these slides reduce replacement frequency. We repeatedly tested and selected compact, stable slides that maintain secure, smooth movement in limited space. This adds substantial cost, but we believe durability and attention to detail are what make an excellent product.

Easy Access

Similar products often use short legs to reduce costs, making scales stored underneath hard to retrieve. We addressed this with the following refinements:

• Adjustable Feet: Adjust the height to suit different uses and settings.
• More Access Space: Extra clearance below makes it easy to take out the scale with one hand for more convenient everyday use.

Usage Notes

1. Joining Marks
   The 3D-printing process may leave slight joining marks on the back. This is normal and does not affect use or appearance.

2. Compatible Models
   This product is designed specifically for the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro multifunctional temperature-control kettle and pour-over coffee stand, and is not suitable for the earlier Stagg EKG range. Check your model before purchase to ensure compatibility.

• Cleaning Advice
  This product is made using 3D FDM printing. Avoid cleaning with hot water, which can cause heat deformation. Wipe gently with a slightly damp soft cloth to keep it clean and durable.
