Product introduction
HARIO × たち吉 V60 02 traditional-glaze dripper brings together hands-on pour-over coffee brewing and the glazes of Japanese earthenware. Its conical body creates a deeper bed of coffee grounds, while spiral ribs leave space for air to escape between the filter paper and the dripper wall. A single large hole at the base makes pouring speed part of how you adjust the brew, suited to coffee enthusiasts who enjoy setting their own blooming and pouring rhythm.
Both styles have an earthenware body and a traditional glaze: Oribe has a deep green glaze, while Ko-Seto features tones ranging from yellow-brown to black. Glaze pooling, flow and variations in depth during firing, together with the fine crazing formed as the clay body and glaze contract at different rates during cooling, give each dripper its own appearance. Choose the glaze that suits your taste and tabletop.

Use & cleaning
Wash the dripper before first use; moisten the earthenware with water or warm water before brewing. Fold a V60 02 filter paper along its sealed edge and fit it against the inside of the dripper. Place the dripper on a stable coffee server or cup, add medium-fine ground coffee, and shake gently to level the bed.
Start with 10–12 g of ground coffee per 120 mL cup and adjust to taste. Remove freshly boiled water from the heat and wait for the surface to settle. Slowly wet the grounds from the centre outwards and bloom for about 30 seconds, then pour in circles from the centre, avoiding pouring directly onto the paper. The manufacturer’s demonstration uses a brew time of within 3 minutes as a reference.
Promptly discard the used filter paper and coffee grounds after brewing. Hand-wash with a neutral detergent, avoiding metal brushes and abrasive cleaning products. Do not leave the used dripper soaking in water for long periods. Allow it to dry thoroughly before storing, and avoid impacts and sudden temperature changes.
