Product introduction
The transparent heatproof glass body of Chacha Kyusu Maru shows the tea colour, while its large stainless steel infuser gives leaves room to open. Brew Japanese tea, Chinese tea, black tea or herbal tea at the appropriate temperature and steeping time, then pour directly into cups for everyday tea at the table.
The rounded lid knob is easy to hold, and the wide opening makes it easy to add leaves and rinse the pot. Remove the infuser after brewing to separate leaves from the tea and clear away spent leaves.
The 300, 450 and 700 mL figures are practical capacities. The 300 and 450 mL versions share a 94 mm opening; the 700 mL version has a 107 mm opening and a larger body and infuser. Each includes a glass body, glass lid and stainless steel infuser.

Use and cleaning
Fit the infuser and add leaves, then pour in water at a temperature suited to the tea. Steep to your preferred strength before pouring; remove the infuser when you want to stop further steeping.
After use, remove the infuser, discard the leaves and wash the body, lid and infuser separately. Dishwasher safe. Remove the metal infuser before reheating tea in the microwave. Do not heat over a direct flame or on an induction hob.
